Welcome To Our Crazy Life

We are the Colls and this is about our life with our triplets. My name is Sandi and my husband's name is Kevin. We got married on Feb. 7, 2004 and instantly started trying to have a baby. 5 years, many tears and loads of help later we found out we were having not one, not two, but three babies!

Braedan, Teagan and Sean bounced into our lives on Nov. 12, 2008 and everything has been turned upside down, flipped sideways and scattered about since then. I’m not going to sugar coat it....it wasn’t easy in the beginning. The NICU, late nights, screaming babies, being thousands of miles from our families because we were stationed in Hawaii, exhaustion and then Kevin deploying to Afghanistan for 6 months the day the kids turned 6 months old......not fun.

But now they are getting older and Kevin has been medically separated from the Marine Corps and we've moved to NY to be closer to family. It's great to finally have family around...... especially now that we've hit the TERRIBLE TWOS triple time!

Even though we are close to family now, we are still learning to survive life with triplets.

Aunt Tabitha Came To Visit!

It's been 6 years since we've seen Kevin's youngest sister! We last saw Tabitha at our second wedding (yes, we got married twice - 1 year apart haha) We've missed our families very much. Hawaii was an amazing place to live, but not always easy on the wallet for people to visit.  In any rate, Tabitha came to visit and to finally meet her new niece and nephews! We had an amazing time hanging out, visiting the museum, going to Kango, checking out Niagara, trying out the zoo, and photographing Letchworth Park! Sounds busy huh? It was!

Strong Museum Of Play

Niagara Falls
After checking the weather and seeing that we were expecting snow and freezing temperatures for the rest of the week, we decided to go ahead and drive to Niagara. It wasn't like the weather was going to get any better. We got up there and about froze to death. It was so cold that our skin was burning! After arriving home and trying to figure out plans for the remainder of the week....the weatherman changed the forecast and the rest of the week we were met with warm temps and even one really warm/sunny day! Oh well, we had as much fun as we could while we were there!

Kango

Seneca Park Zoo
The zoo was interesting because not only was it our first time visiting here, but also the first time we've gotten to use our CHOO CHOO! We love the Choo Choo much more than we loved the zoo! The biggest laugh came when we were watching the Orangutans play and Braedan yelled as loud as he could, "No bite monkey. Not nice. Bad monkey!" He was super serious when he yelled it which made it harder for us as well as the crowd of onlookers not to laugh!

Letchworth Park

Our last stop this week was Letchworth State Park. It's a beautiful place, but at this time of the year only 5 miles of it is open. It was chilly outside so we didn't explore too much, but we did get some beautiful pictures!

Overall, we had an amazing time hanging out with you Tabitha! We love you very much and you are MORE than welcome to come visit anytime you want!
