Yeah, I forgot to blog about Thanksgiving...maybe I was in a turkey coma?
Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. We did a small turkey so I didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn, but we still made sure to cook all of the usual side items and deserts! While I was cooking, Kevin and the kids were watching football. Braedan and Sean loved throwing their arms up and yelling "touchdown" whenever someone scored and Teagan ran around all wild the whole time. We decided to ditch the highchairs and go with our booster chairs for the big meal this year. Shockingly, it didn't go to bad! We even decided to ditch the highchair full time now! Once the meal was devoured, we all took a long nap. When I saw long, I mean we all passed out for a few hours. For Kevin and I this was a miracle that was long overdue!

Carving the turkey |
When the wild ones woke up, we took them outside to play on a new toy that a friend gave us! They call it a baby roller coaster. It's just a little ramp with a car on it, but the kids love it. They climb onto it, yell "READY, SET, GO!" and zoom down the ramp. Teagan is the daredevil and prefers not to hold on! Once they were worn out from the roller coaster we all came in and made turkey cookies (ginger bread mix rolled out and cut into the shape of everyones hands and then decorated!)
On Black Friday, instead of shopping, we stayed home and put up Christmas lights outside and decorated the big tree inside. We had to gate the tree off to keep the kids away, but it's still pretty. The kids are obsessed with the lights. All day long you can hear them showing one of their toys the "Kiss-mas yights"
