Welcome To Our Crazy Life

We are the Colls and this is about our life with our triplets. My name is Sandi and my husband's name is Kevin. We got married on Feb. 7, 2004 and instantly started trying to have a baby. 5 years, many tears and loads of help later we found out we were having not one, not two, but three babies!

Braedan, Teagan and Sean bounced into our lives on Nov. 12, 2008 and everything has been turned upside down, flipped sideways and scattered about since then. I’m not going to sugar coat it....it wasn’t easy in the beginning. The NICU, late nights, screaming babies, being thousands of miles from our families because we were stationed in Hawaii, exhaustion and then Kevin deploying to Afghanistan for 6 months the day the kids turned 6 months old......not fun.

But now they are getting older and Kevin has been medically separated from the Marine Corps and we've moved to NY to be closer to family. It's great to finally have family around...... especially now that we've hit the TERRIBLE TWOS triple time!

Even though we are close to family now, we are still learning to survive life with triplets.

Blue Angels

Well, the airshow has begun! We took the babies to the preview show yesterday with the help of some good friends. We knew the babies would be excited to see all of the planes since it's their new obsession lately, so we asked our good friends Josh and Kristina if they would mind helping us out. We knew extra hands might be needed, but man....we didn't know we would need them as much as we did! We took the wagon because we figured little Miss Independent (Teagan) wouldn't want to sit in her stroller all day. Sure enough as soon as we got in the gate, she wanted out! Soon after the boys were wanting out as well. Since we had 4 adults we figured we could keep up with the little ones. We did pretty good. We only "lost" Sean for a second. Man that kid is FAST! He wasn't really lost, just on the other side of the cars we were looking at.

The babies LOVED all of the planes. Kevin and Josh did also! So we stuck around the airshow for a few hours, let the babies ride their first ever carnival ride (a Merry Go 'Round) and then headed up the hill to watch the Blue Angels take the sky. Man what a great idea that was. Kevin and I had found this spot a few years ago when the Blue Angels were last here. It's a little field hidden among the Officer's houses. It's the perfect spot because the Blue Angels fly right over your head there and the field is big enough so the kids can run free! We had such a great time that we are going back today!

They got to go inside a helicopter!

Sean had so much fun he refused to come out!

He LOVES being able to walk around finally!

I can't even tell you how excited they were to play in the plane

B kept holding up his planes that he brought with him as the planes flew overhead!

He fell over as the planes went over his head. He just laid there laughing for a few minutes!
